Stories are powerful mirrors and windows—they show us who we are and what we can become. Through our Digital Story Library, we are documenting and sharing the journeys of trailblazing Indian women in science, business, sports, arts, and activism. Each story highlights not only their achievements, but also the struggles, sacrifices, and resilience that shaped them. For young girls, these narratives open doors of possibility, proving that success isn’t reserved for the privileged few—it’s within reach for anyone who dares to dream.
Mentorship Circles – Guidance That Empowers
Every girl deserves a guide who believes in her potential. Our Mentorship Circles connect young girls with inspiring women leaders and role models from diverse fields. These circles are safe, supportive spaces—whether online or in-person—where girls can ask questions, seek advice, and learn from the real-life experiences of women who’ve walked the path before them. Beyond guidance, these circles build bonds of trust, direction, and empowerment, reminding each girl that she is not alone in her journey.
Leadership & Confidence Workshops – Skills That Last
Leadership isn’t just about titles—it begins with courage, voice, and self-belief. Our Leadership & Confidence Workshops are designed to nurture these qualities in every girl. Through hands-on activities, interactive role plays, and skill-building exercises in public speaking, critical thinking, and problem-solving, we help girls discover their own strengths. The goal isn’t just to prepare them for school or careers—it’s to equip them with lifelong skills that empower them to stand tall, lead with empathy, and create meaningful change in their communities.

Daughters of India began with a simple question from an 8-year-old girl: “If girls can be strong in stories, why can’t we be strong in real life too?”
From that moment, founder Anaya Deshmukh decided to build a space where girls could share their voices, mothers and daughters could connect, and communities could come together to create opportunities.
What started as one girl’s dream is now a growing movement—reminding every daughter that her voice matters, her story matters, and she matters.
