I cannot verify the previous claims.

The former article described “audited financials”, an 88.5% programme-efficiency ratio, ₹1.2 crore of impact deployed, 10,500+ students reached, 14,200 books distributed, independent third-party audits and compliance under 80G/12A. The maintained project record available to this website does not currently include the audit reports, statutory certificates, source ledgers or programme records required to substantiate those statements.

Those claims have therefore been removed from publication rather than repeated as fact.

What must exist before an impact report is republished

  • Financial source of record: signed accounts or audited statements identifying the legal entity, reporting period and auditor where applicable.
  • Statutory evidence: current registration/certification documents before any 80G, 12A or similar status is claimed.
  • Programme ledger: dated records for workshops, grants, schools, participants and distributed materials, with duplicate handling and clear definitions.
  • Methodology: a written explanation of how reach, outcomes and efficiency ratios are calculated.
  • Publication review: named internal owner, review date and links to the underlying evidence package.

Until those materials are assembled and reviewed, Daughters of India will use the Impact & Evidence page to describe its reporting standard without publishing unsupported totals.
