Community · Learning together

Circles turn information into conversation.

Workshops and community circles give young people a place to ask questions, compare experiences and practise decisions that are difficult to learn from a worksheet alone.

Formats

Different rooms. One standard: useful participation.

Students

Money & agency circles

Age-appropriate discussions and activities around earning, saving, digital payments, budgeting, scams, investing vocabulary and the social pressures surrounding money.

Families

Parent–teen conversations

Structured prompts help families discuss money without turning every conversation into a lecture. The goal is shared vocabulary, safer questions and gradually increasing responsibility.

Schools

Institutional workshops

Facilitated sessions can complement existing life-skills, economics, wellbeing or advisory programmes while keeping examples practical and relevant to young people in India.

Facilitation principle

Do not confuse participation with performance.

A strong circle should make room for the student who already knows the vocabulary and the student asking a basic question for the first time. Activities should reward reasoning, reflection and responsible choices rather than confidence alone.

Real Girls Support Each Other.

Participants are encouraged to share useful resources, listen without ridicule and avoid turning personal financial circumstances into status comparisons.
